This photograph shows a hive from a few years ago, it started as one box on the bottom and slowly grew until it was taller and much heavier than me. For the past seven years, we have been dedicated to understanding and caring for honey bees, remarkable creatures that play a vital role in our ecosystem. Each hive is a bustling community of some 20,000 to 80,000 worker bees, drones, and a queen, working in harmony to sustain their colony while supporting our agricultural landscape.
Beekeeping has become way more than just a hobby for us. My mom and I love sharing our bee obsession with local elementary school kids. We show up with crazy bee facts, do some fun hands-on activities, and basically try to make bees sound as cool as they really are. We want kids to understand how important these little pollinators are - and trust me, they're way more interesting than most kids realize!
Our hives are not just wooden boxes; they are living laboratories filled with fascinating stories of cooperation and survival. The honey we harvest reflects the local ecosystem, each batch unique to the surrounding flowers and plants. Through our work, we hope to foster a deeper appreciation for bees and inspire others to protect these essential pollinators
Our honey is available locally. Our honey changes with the seasons, so order early!
